CSRD and ESG
WITH SWINK
CSRD and ESG for corporates
Does your organization have a Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) obligation? Working with Swink helps you meet this requirement. Sustainability can be implemented in many ways. Both in the organization and in the value chain.
CSRD through collaboration with Swink
Because of the impact we make, working with Swink can be part of your sustainability strategy. This is because in this way you contribute to the theme 'Employment and inclusion of people with disabilities'. This falls under the sub-theme 'Equal treatment and opportunities for all' of ESRS S2 ‘Employees in the value chain’.
A nice win-win: you make a commitment to CSRD, contribute to jobs for people distanced from the labor market and get high-quality services for your company! In fact, at Swink more than 70% of the employees have a form of autism. Because we realize meaningful jobs for people with autism, we make a lot of impact. Not for nothing do we have the PSO certification with the highest rung.
Duurzaamheid en wat de Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) betekent
The Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) is intended to encourage large listed companies to do more with sustainability. They are required to report on their sustainability strategy. In doing so, these companies must set sustainability targets and how they intend to achieve them.
If your organization falls within this scope, it means that you are required to make the sustainability report part of the annual report. In it you show what your strategy looks like, the associated goals and the policy and steps to achieve those sustainability goals.
ESG, sustainability and ESRS standards
ESG stands for Environmental, Social en Governance. In finance, this term is often used when talking about sustainability. It includes criteria investors use to determine a company's sustainability and ethical impact. Central to this is the balance between financial economic results, transparency, social concerns and the environment. That balance leads to better results for both the company and society.
Central to the CSRD are the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS's). Of the 12 ESRS standards, 10 deal with the ESG areas (environmental, social and governance). So ESG is an important foundation of the CSRD.
