What the PSO certification means for you
Organizations that procure from us are assured of high quality services due to the extraordinary talents of our employees. Moreover, the PSO certification assures them that they are contributing to sustainable jobs for people distanced from the labor market. This is also known as Social Return or Social Return on Investment (SROI).
Do you have a contract that requires (a lot of) social return or do you want to create (more) social return as an organization? Then Swink is what you are looking for! Because of our high PSO certification, public organizations can award contracts to us that require a lot of social return.
What is PSO?
The Prestatieladder Socialer Ondernemen (PSO) is a nationally recognized standard for inclusive entrepreneurship. Organizations grow on the PSO performance ladder if they offer employment to people with a distance to the labor market and/ or demonstrably procure socially.
Swink has had the PSO label since August 2017. We are proud to be on the highest rung of the PSO-ladder. This puts us among the leaders in the field of social enterprise. It indicates that Swink demonstrably contributes to a better society.
The highest rung
The PSO-performance ladder is a scientifically based TNO instrument that determines the extent to which a company engages in social entrepreneurship. There are different steps depending on the degree of impact an organization makes. Swink is certified for step 3, the highest step. This makes Swink one of the leaders in providing employment to people with a distance to the labor market.
In addition to the PSO step 3 certification, Swink has the 30+ (Abw)-Certificate. This indicates that we 30% of our employees are from vulnerable groups. At Swink this is 70% which means we more than meet this standard. This shows that making social impact is Swink's core value. Because of the PSO certificate, public organizations can award contracts to us that require a high degree of social return.
