Privacy statement

We consider privacy at Swink to be extraordinarily important. It goes without saying that your personal data will be handled carefully and confidentially. This privacy statement tells you which data we collect, why we collect it and how we handle it.

Why we process personal data

We process personal data in order to provide you with the best possible service. If you use our services, we need your data to fulfill the agreement. We are also legally obliged to store certain personal data for our financial administration and for the tax authorities.

When you visit our website, your data is stored. We do this to optimize our website and for marketing purposes. You can read more about this in the section 'Cookies on our website'.

Are we conducting an accessibility audit for you? If so, the information you provide on the intake form will be processed via Jotform. This data is stored within the EU. We have a data processing agreement in place with Jotform.

If you contact us, for example through a form on our website, the data you enter will be used to provide you with service. We store your data in our CRM system Gripp, with which we have a processing agreement. We will not keep this data longer than necessary to process your request.

Applications and CVs we receive are not kept for longer than four weeks. It may be that we do not have a suitable vacancy, but we find your profile interesting. We will ask your permission to keep your data in our database for a longer period.

How we secure personal data

We take appropriate security measures to limit misuse of and unauthorized access to your personal data. For example, we ensure that only the necessary persons have access to the data, that access to the data is protected and that our security measures are checked regularly. Servers and devices we use are equipped with up-to-date security software, such as a virus scanner and firewall. The data on the hard drives of our employees' computers are encrypted. Furthermore, we use a password manager.

All data you exchange via our website is encrypted with SSL security based on the https protocol. This protects your data from interception by third parties.
We do not keep data longer than necessary. This means that we keep the data as long as necessary to provide the service you have requested. Exceptions to this are the data that we must keep longer because the law requires us to do so.

Access, correction and amendment of your data

To make sure that the request for inspection is made by you, we ask you to send a copy of your ID with the request. In this copy, black out your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip of numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and Citizen Service Number (BSN). This is to protect your privacy.

We are happy to help you if you disagree with the processing of your personal data by us. Should you nevertheless not come to an agreement with us, you have the possibility to file a complaint with the national supervisory authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

We use cookies when providing the information on our website. A cookie is a small text file sent when you visit our website and stored by your browser on the hard drive of your computer. We use cookies to remember your settings and preferences. Cookies are also used by a number of tools that we use to provide you with an optimal service and to improve our website. Below is an overview of the tools we use and what we use them for.

Matomo

Matomo is a web analytics package and similar to Google Analytics. We use this tool to track statistics about the use of our website. This allows us to analyze visit and click behavior on our site so we can further improve the website. It also allows us to determine the effectiveness of online advertising. Matomo is privacy-friendly and GDPR compliant.
