ExtraordinarilyenlighteningDigital accessibility training
For more knowledge, skills, and motivation in your team
Digital accessibility is everywhere. Not just for developers, web editors, and (UX) designers. Product owners, project leaders, and policymakers also have to deal with it. So, having the right knowledge in the right place is essential. With our training, you can get and keep that knowledge in-house.
The state of technology is changing, and digital accessibility is changing with it. If internal knowledge is not kept up to date, inaccessibility can quickly creep in. In the code and design of your website(s) or app(s). And in the content on pages, social media, and in documents.
This inaccessibility costs you more than you might think. It excludes people (potential customers). You run the risk of fines and reputational damage because you are not complying with legislation. And you may lose colleagues because they feel they do not have/are not given the knowledge they need to do their job.
The solution is simple: train yourself and your colleagues. We can help you with that. With training courses from experts in the field, covering:
Understanding what digital accessibility and inaccessibility is. With an inspiring awareness session. Or an introduction to the subject for specific roles or departments within your organization.
Testing and checking accessibility yourself. For developers, designers, web editors, and content specialists.
Creating accessible Word files and PDFs. With a focus on templates, PDF forms, PDF and InDesign, and checking PDFs for accessibility yourself.
Getting started with accessible content. On your website, social media, and in documents. Ideal for your marketing and communications team.
Do you have a specific question or training in mind? There's a good chance we can help you with it.
Knowledge you can use to move forward. Tailored to your industry, organization, and possibly your own practical examples.
Better quality in your work. Because with the right knowledge, you can really work on digital accessibility. And that improves the quality of your communication and services.
A motivated and confident team. Knowledge not only increases your skills, it also increases your motivation and confidence in your work.
Cost savings. Training allows you to acquire knowledge and skills in-house, which saves on hiring external consultants and therefore costs.
Training via Swink: how it works
1. Intake
We get acquainted and you tell us what you need. Based on that, we look at which training course suits you best. And which date is convenient for you.
2. Training
You and/or your colleagues will attend the training course. This usually lasts half a day or a whole day. At the end of the training course, you will have gained a wealth of knowledge and skills that you can put to good use. We promise.
3. Feedback
We are, of course, very curious to know how you have applied everything you learned in the training. Is everything going well? Or are you still encountering difficulties in practice? If so, we would be happy to take a look with you.
You will be working with specialists. We know everything there is to know about digital accessibility and have been working for government agencies and businesses for many years. With our knowledge and experience, we can help you comply with the law.
All-in-one for accessibility. Need more than just an audit? We will show you the way. Thanks to our expertise, supplemented by a large network of experts, we can help you with any accessibility question.
More attention to detail. 70% of our team has autism. We see details and discover patterns that others miss. And you will notice that in everything we deliver.
You meet your SROI obligation. By working with us, you support inclusive employment and meet your SROI obligations (PSO 30+ certified).
