Pleio stands for Plein Overheid and is a collaboration platform of, for and by the government. Government organisations can use Pleio as a social intranet, collaboration space, community/forum or communication site.
Assignment
Our digital accessibility specialists performed a system audit for Pleio. This way, Pleio users know that Pleio's technology is accessible. As a result, government organisations only need to have a content audit performed for the accessibility statement.
We also help Pleio with data analytics. Our data analysts ensure that Matomo, the web statistics package used by Pleio, is up to date. So the data Pleio needs to properly measure and optimise their services is always available. Moreover, we help Pleio with advanced queries that require data analysis.
“Matthijs keeps our Matomo environment up-to-date and he helps us with advanced queries. That goes very well. We are very satisfied with that. In addition, in the context of digital accessibility, we have delegated all audits to Swink. So when a third party comes to us asking if we can do an audit or know a party who can, we refer them to Swink.”

Extraordinarily nice of Swink
Thanks to the partnership we have with Pleio, Pleio users who have a content audit done by us get a 10% discount.
Swinker speaking
“I do the functional management of Pleio's Matomo installation and am the go-to person for questions about analytics. I keep Matomo up to date, but only implement updates when it is clear that serious bugs do not occur or have already been fixed. I help make things measurable that are not measured by Matomo by default. I do that by setting up the Matomo Tag Manager. And if there are problems on the server that make Matomo not work or not work properly, I can fix them or indicate what needs to be done.”
